Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Vijay Vinayagamoorthi (Yaybit) (“we”) for using the YT Highlighter browser extension and service. By using it you agree to these terms.
The service
YT Highlighter lets you save moments, clips and notes on YouTube videos and see them in your library on any computer where you sign in. It is an independent product, not made by or affiliated with YouTube or Google. It does not download or copy videos.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account. Keep your account secure; you are responsible for activity on it. One Pro plan is for one person and can be used on up to 3 computers at a time.
Free and Pro plans
- Free: saving on up to 5 different videos in total. Deleting a video does not give back a free slot.
- Pro yearly (₹199/year): unlimited videos for 12 months from payment. It does not renew automatically; you choose whether to pay again.
- Pro lifetime (₹499, limited early-bird offer): unlimited videos for as long as the service is offered.
- Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise and may change for future purchases; existing paid periods are not affected.
- Fair use: to protect the service, very large volumes of saved items may be limited.
Payments
Payments are processed by Razorpay (UPI, cards and other methods). Pro is activated automatically after Razorpay confirms the payment. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break its security, bypass limits or payments, overload it, resell accounts, or use it to break YouTube’s terms or any law. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your content
Your notes and saved moments belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you. You can export or delete them at any time.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free, especially as YouTube changes its website. We may change or improve features. If we ever shut the service down, we will give at least 30 days’ notice so you can download your data.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Erode, India have jurisdiction.
